In Episode 40 of the METC podcast, we talk Media Literacy with a local expert Marteana Davidson.  Marteana is a wife, mother, Video Technology coordinator at a high school (21 years). I manage the Charles Marshal Video Technology Center.  This center is made up of a TV studio, computer lab, sound booth and three editing suites. I’m also the current president of GMLP. A not for profit who is passionate about educating the community about media literacy. We are excited to have such a local expert on our podcast to talk about this important topic.  Marteana shares information on what media literacy is and how she incorporates it into content at her school. She also shares some great resources that educators can use within their own classroom. Marteana shares what events the Gateway Media Literacy Partners organization is sponsoring during Media Literacy week 2018.  Be sure to connect with Marteana and check out the GMLP and all the resources they can provide.
