Within this episode of the METC podcast, I talk with #METC19 Spotlight Educator Rhonda Jenkins. She shares all about her library makerspace. Rhonda shares the process she has taken over the years to get her space up and running. An effective makerspace isn’t necessarily built overnight. Rhonda also shares that a makerspace isn’t always about the “toys” you have available in the space, but instead it is really about having a dedicated space to make and create collaboratively. Be sure to connect with Rhonda to learn more about her journey and her space. She will be presenting multiple sessions at the #METC19 Conference in February. I highly recommend coming out and joining us to not only see this wonderful Spotlight, but all of the awesome learning that takes place at this annual conference. Information about the conference is linked below.
